Here is a newly released high resolution pic of the latest Tron Legacy billboard art.  This one features a battle on the light cycles.  I’m really suprised of how far out they are advertising this movie, considering it won’t be out until December of this year.  Disney must have high projections for this movie to be putting this amount of money into the marketing.

Here is the final movie poster for Prince Of Persia starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, and Gemma Arteton.  The poster doesn’t look that much different than other posters and pics we’ve seen already except that it’s not tinted with black and white look or other colors.

Check out this almost shot for shot remake of the famous Beastie Boys video for “Sabotage” recreated with Battlestar Galactica footage. The feel and rhythm of the original Spike Jones directed music video is still intact with BSG clips drawn from all the seasons.

Here’s a new poster for The Losers starring Zoe Saldana, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, and Idris Elba.  Its very similar to a previous released promo pic which was recreation of one of The Losers comic book covers.

From watching the trailer, I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy this movie more than the A-Team.

Final ‘Toy Story 3′ Poster (PIC)

Here is the final poster for Pixar’s upcoming sequel Toy Story 3.  I really enjoy this franchise and with the first two movies I felt they each kept with the same spirit but offered different things and I hope the third lives up to that.

I’m not sure if I will see the movie in 3D or not, as I watched UP in 3D and it didn’t really add that much to the experience (unlike Avatar).

Will you be seeing this in 3D or regular 2D?

‘Halo Reach’ Multiplayer Trailer (VIDEO)

Check out this trailer for the multiplayer component of the upcoming Halo Reach.  What’s most interesting in this video is the inclusion of jet packs for players to move around with.  Also you can see some of the new weapons that are going to be this prequel game.

While everything looks pretty cool, I’m more interested in seeing the campaign mode and hope that it can add something new to the Halo experience. My guess that it is going to be more combat squad based with perhaps 4 player co-op with actual different styles of players.

Bill Murray Confirms ‘Ghostbusters 3′ Rumours?

SPOILER ALERT!

Bill Murray will be hitting David Letterman’s couch tonight (March 1st @ 11:35 PM ET on CBS.), but thankfully you don’t have to wait that long. AICN got a scoop from a trustedsource that was at today’s live taping and dropped in with some interesting tidbits. He confirmed that our beloved Peter Venkman will indeed bite the bullet at the beginning of the proposed third film. Murray seemed skeptical about the project seeing the light of day. The source said Murray delivered the news with a “I’ll believe it when I see it” tone. He also states that Murray enjoyed working on the videogame.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen with the project, but I’m not sure how I feel about seeing Murray as a ghost. Apparently, the only way Murray would return to the franchise was if they killed him of in the first reel. Sure, his interactions with Slimer would probably be hilarious but hopefully it’s something organic that has a great deal to do with the story. Ivan Reitman confirmed he’ll be directing the picture, which is being penned by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (The Office).

Awesome But Expensive “Serenity” Replica (VIDEO)

Here is a really cool but expensive replica of Firefly’s ship “Serenity”. You can have this seriously cool ship with all kinds of  lighting effects for $2500.  They’re only making 1000 of them so you better hurry up and get one.  I’d definitly get one… That is if I was a multimillionaire and wanted to show off my commitment to geekdom.

Check out a video below of the replica and see the lighting effects coming from the ship.  However there is a strange choice of a song that goes along with the video.

I know Valentine’s Day has passed and for some of you it may be a “holiday” you have ill feelings towards. However despite any protests you may have, at least it has done one thing for geeks (specifically LOST fans) and here it is: LOST Valentine’s Day Cards.

My favorite ones are Jack’s, Faraday’s, and Sawyer’s, what about you?

6 New ‘Kick-Ass’ Character Banners (PICS)

Here are 6 new character banners for the highly anticipated Kick-Ass movie which is based on Mark Millar’s comic book series.  It’s debuting at SXSW in March, and I’m hoping to be there to catch an early screening of it.  I like the first 4, with the splatter paint style head cut outs, but not a fan of the last 2 which are kind of uninspired montage of the characters faces.

Here is the 2nd Red Band Trailer for Kick-Ass and I have to say these red band trailers are much better than the regular  ones, they seem to capture the fun and spirit of this Super-Hero Action Comedy that seems to be restrained by the green band ones.

I can’t wait to see this movie, so check out this video below and let me know what you think.

Check out this hilarious Mass Effect 2 Rap Song/Video that features sampling of the Mass Effect soundtrack and lines like “Probe Away” delivered by Tricia Helfer.  The lyrics are pretty funny and are relevant to the actual story and the mini-game of mining planets for resources.  This probably will only be funny to people who have played the game, while the rest of you will think “Man, Dennis is an idiot!”.

Really Cool “Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds” (PICS)

Check out these cool posters designed by various artists with their interpretations of Tarantino’s Oscar nominated movie Inglourious Basterds.  They were created as part of a way to raise money for the victims of Haiti and can be purchased only in person in Los Angeles tomorrow between 6-9pm.  There will only be 6 of each poster and will cost $300. Also each poster will be signed by Tarantino himself.

My favorite one is the one with eagle stabbing the Nazi and his innards running out. (Guess you know where my head is at.)  The next two I like the most are the “Hitler as Target Practice” and the “Chopping Off the Hand of Heil Hitler Hand”.  The last two don’t reall do anything for me though, they don’t look to add anything different to how you see the movie.

What do you guys think?

Here is the poster for Johnny Depp’s “Mad Hatter” character from Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice In Wonderland.  I’m suprised they chose a head to toe pic of him, as opposed to the usual movie marketing of a huge close up of one of the star’s faces so you know for sure somebody famous is in the movie.

Band of Brothers is one of my favorite television series ever, and HBO is going to debut the sequel series The Pacific which focuses on the US soldiers in World War II but instead of the fight with Germany in Europe, this one is on the other side of the world with the fight with Japan.  Check out the promo that shows off a preview of the series.
