Hey guys, I know it’s last minute but we’ll be having a ThinkHero Comic Con 2012 meetup on Wednesday night at the Omni Hotel (at the McCormick & Schmick’s bar) from 6 to 8pm. From Greek we also derive the word tome (Greek: τόμος), which originally meant a slice or piece and from there began to denote "a roll of papyrus". Tomus was used by the Latins with exactly the same meaning as volumen (see also below the explanation by Isidore of Seville).
A friend of mine attended this event and he posted some pictures that I was truly amazed because of the costumes made by the participants.
Everyone should just get elgg and build their own social site at home. It isn't that hard. Then no more security or privacy problems. Your server your site. That is what the internet was supposed to be anyway. When it was originally invented. Long before Gore fouled it up.
