One thing I missed from the book though was Danny's vision of "the thing that happens in the place" in the house of the undying. I just think its a really awesome image.
I haven't read the books. I've been wary of doing so, because once I know how the storyline should go, I might be disappointed by the show. Though it seems that's not the case with this series. HBO has done an outstanding job!
Yes, I understood that John was being provoked to kill. When the man (sorry can't remember his name) said, "We are the Watchers on the Wall." It was heartbreaking.
Dany is becoming ruthless and inch at a time. It's nice to see the progression, and not just a sudden jerk.
The White Walkers – OMG – they are a nightmare. Poor Sam, I hope he lives. He gives a depth to the character around him.
I loved the sequence with Briann and Jamie Lannister. You could see the exact moment he realized she was a great fighter and a great force.
I'm going to miss this show.
Its very true. Not only was he very surprised but it looked like he reluctantly respected her show of skill.
I'm not sure Darkseid is the big bad this season. In a way, I hope he's not. I'm thinking Mongul, Despero or after this episode, the Dominators.
