When I think of what this movie is all about, I think it will be a combination of three storylines: Knightfall, No Man's Land, and the a little bit of the Dark Knight Returns. I can't to see how this film lives to so many fan's expectations. Then again, when has Christopher Nolan failed us?
You're right Michael, he hasn't failed us yet, and it would be a shame if this movie does not live up to its expectations. A girl Robin maybe? I know that's a stretch, but it would be cool
The Joker was the apex of villainy in the last movie. A villain with no motivation beyond a scorched earth policy.
A character that cannot be topped.
Whatever Bane's motivations are, they will be more pedantic than the Joker's anarchy.
We'll see what Nolan conjures up but it won't be a surprise if this one is more sizzle than substance.
