Here’s a new four-minute sizzle reel for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ which will be released in theaters on July 3, 2012. It’s interesting to see the tonal differences in this movie compared to the Marvel Studio produced films. It appears to be much darker than the original trilogy Directed by Sam Raimi. Of the three superhero movies coming out this summer, this is the one I’m least interested in seeing. The cast is excellent, but the idea of another origin story for Spidey doesn’t interest me. I’m still going to see it and I hope that it’s good, but my expectations aren’t high. Are you excited for a new interpretation of Peter Parker and his journey as Spider-Man? Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

Not bad at all! I think I might like this spidey better than the other one. I sure like the new threads.
Spidey is my all time fav SuperHero and I like the new twist they have introduced into his origin story. Plus he quips! He quips! He quips! That's the Spidey I want to see!
Never really liked the Sam Raimi movies. I remember one scene where he stops a train with his feet which is ridiculous for Spiderman. This looks to be very close in tone and build to the orig comic books. I'm think that this is going to sneek up on people with its word of mouth…
i like the "quip potential" this film has, though it almost has to have it to offset the nolan-esque tone they seem to have shaped the story around. spidey was never my favorite, but i'll still see it.
Yeah, because Spidey is not supposed to be dark or brooding like Batman. I hope it's good
Im super sick of the Spider, they need a new story
