Every time a watch a review on Game of Thrones, most of the characters are pragmatic :p Good review by the way
Great review! the beginning of this episode really shocked me. Just like u guys i loved the pledging between briene and catlyn. Oh gush winterfell is going to be in deep trouble i guess bran's dream is going to come true. Danny is one of my favorite characters i just hope that she makes the right decisions. Now that everyone seems to have an interest in her it might be good or disastrous.
I'm sorry, but I'm totally missing Roth!
Someone give newguy a Redbull or something.
You only recapped the episode, and I missed some in-depth thought about the story lines and the motives behind each episode…
Anyway, I think the scene between Taywane and Aria had some amazing acting, and I particularly enjoyed seeing Tyrion messing with Lancel's head .
As for Jon Snow – he knows nothing of what's coming…
@BBB He's the founder of this site, def not a new guy.. no need to be a d-bag.
I disagree with you guys. The Brienne/Catelyn scene was great, but the scene with Tywin and Arya was my favorite. Maisie Williams really shined in that scene. Also, Jaqen is the badass I've always imagined him to be!
All in all, I thought this episode had the best meat of the novel yet but did not make good use of it. The pacing seemed so rushed in parts especially with Renly's scene. I can see Jon Snow's storyline being really confusing right now to people who haven't read the books. I really wish a 12 episode season could work. This show could really benefit from that.
The Tywin and Arya scene was also one of my favorites too. Both are fantastic characters. They probably need 12 episodes but unfortunately budget wise they couldn't do it.

Hi guys, great review!
As other posters have said, the scene between Tywin and Arya was incredible – their acting was amazing. Also, Arya's expression when that torturer guy was killed – AHH! Maisie's interpretation of Arya's realization of her newfound "power" was just beautiful to see.
BTW, what was up with Rickon and the walnuts?!! Do you think the writers are going anywhere with that? Is he becoming mentally unhinged because of his mother's prolonged absence?
Great Review!!! i never really thought that Jorah was in romantic love with Daenerys before i guess im too dense. I missed Joffery this ep, just when his antics stopped making me mad:(
Nice review. It was an awesome episode anyway!!I love the perfomance of the actress that plays Mellisandra! This witch has impressed me very much this season!I have ont read the books but only a fool would fear her.I am also very curious about the 2 choices Arya will make!!About John Snow I have high expectations. Will his adventures in the north make him gain experiences useful in order to become a king? I am worried about Winterfell.Let's see what happens with that…
Anyway the idea of liquid fire was adobted by the writer by the byzantine history. The bysantines used very much against the arab ships. They would trow it with a catapult or there were special ships that pured this liquid fire to other ships. The ingredients of the liquid fire are still unknown.
Great episode and great review
One huge deviation from the books that I didn't like at all – Arya kills the Tickler (in a great death scene), not Jaqen H'ghar .
My friends were a little bit confused with Jaqen's religion so we watched that scene with Jaqen and Arya again (thanks DVR lol). The second time they've noticed that Jaqen is only saying that the Red God (R'hllor, the god of Melisandre) lost 3 deaths from the fire thanks to Arya and she must repay him (R'hllor). He doesn't say that he believes in the Red God or worships him but they wrote it so people can understand that both ways (does/doesn't worship him).
When Arya said to Tywin "No, My Lord, anyone can be killed" and left the words "also you" unspoken, someone in the war council should have said "OH NO SHE DIDN'T!!" while snaps fingers xD
