Here’s the first official banner for Zach Snyder’s upcoming Superman film, ‘Man of Steel’ starring Henry Cavill (The Tudors) and Amy Adams (Doubt). While looking at this image, the first thought that came to my mind was the interesting choice of colors. The yellow, which is hardly recognizable, almost appears orange, and I’m not even sure what shade of red one would call that. With that being said, I still love the logo, and even with its “newness,” it feels familiar. I’m curious to see what you all think. Do you like the new Superman symbol, or do you prefer a more classic interpretation?

I agree, I think it looks more alien, as opposed to the traditional look from the comic books, which looks like something you could by on earth.
This maybe very odd coming from me but these colours I like. They look richer and the detailing distract from the logo looking like it's being inflated and about to burst.
The gold is a nice touch. The red looks ruby like and it actually does stand out from the background.
Credit where it's due. This I like.
That shade of red is very striking, and I like how you can't see much of the yellow. Looking forward to seeing this in the theater…
I personally do not like the new of Superman.I think the colors look almost menacing. I also think the new costume looks rather like they are trying to make Superman metrosexual. Personally what I find offensive about the new costume is that America does not respect it's own works of art. Changing the costume is in many ways like painting a smile on Mona Lisa. (Orginally Superman's costume was made on earth in the comic books)

I have always loved superman, but the previouse light coloured gay costume always annoyed me. Now seeing this costume and a real good actor for the role of supes i think it might be my most favourite superhero movie.and the new costume represents the real character of superman in every way better than the previouse one, it’s more alian,bold,and to be honest kinda bad ass too, looks like thor is really gonna have a challenge!!!
