Here is me, Kristen and David’s review of the latest episode of Spartacus Vengeance “Monsters”. What did you think of what happened and the characters that were killed?

This was an awesome episode. You are right in saying that the rebels face a desperate situation.I believe that history points out that Spartacus trully faced such hopeless situations. Moreover the decisive battle trully was at the edge of Vesuvius. So the series is very close to the actual historical facts(the cruelty, cursing and sexuaity were also true parts of the roman era).About the rebels I am not sure who will live or die in the next episode.I fear for Inomaus(mostly),Ganicus and Agron.I did not expect the Egyptian to be such a bad ass!!He comes close to Theokolis or the German giant at the gods of the arena!!!About the romans you are right about saying that they are champions at backstabing!!So any prediction is impossiible.Do you think Varinius actually died or will we see him again reminding the Double face from the batman stories??The biggest posibility is that Gaius will die but I can not predict who will be the killer.I t might be his own wife or even Lucretia. The most unpredictable thing about the next episode is the power game between the 2 women. Will Lucretia or Ilythia survive??They may both live or die too.If the move of Ilthia at killing Sepia was not in accordance with Lucretia,I am curius about how the 2nd is going to react.Lucretia seems in very difficult situation in this ep but in this series everything can happen from episode to episode!!About Assar I hope that we will see him in the next season too!!
It has been an entertaining season.
My only caveat is that Spartacus himself has been given very little to do this season except deliver speeches. The show may have done this deliberately to allow the audience to get use to the new actor but I've lost of my empathy for Spartacus as a result. He has become less a flesh and blood character and more of a figure head.
I agree with Kristen that both women were in on the plan.
Spartacus is the weakest link in this great season.
nice nice..
