“Trust is the greatest of gifts, but it must be earned.”
This exciting four episode-arc concludes with “Crisis on Naboo,” as Anakin finally learns the truth that Obi-Wan was disguising himself as a bounty hunter. In typical fashion, Anakin feels betrayed by the fact that the Jedi Council did not trust him. Like the subheading says, “Trust… must be earned.” It’s saddening, but also fascinating how the writers are slowly developing the eventual downfall of Anakin. On a lighter note, how cool were those holographic devices that the bounty hunters were using? The wonderful thing about ‘Clone Wars’ is its willingness to explore new ideas and stories that one can only find in the novels or video games. As I’ve said before, George Lucas is a great visionary, but it’s nice having a unique team of writers and directors underfoot to help guide his vision onto the small screen. I believe that is why ‘The Clone Wars’ has been so consistent.
My favorite scene would have to be the final battle between Count Dooku and Anakin. Dooku telling Anakin that he wasn’t as much of a challenge compared to Obi-Wan, couldn’t have been good for the young Jedi’s self-esteem. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer the animated Count Dooku to that of the prequel’s version. With this arc’s conclusion, what are your thoughts on the story as a whole? Did you like the way everything wrapped up in the end? Personally, I enjoyed this story-arc, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the writers have in store for us as this season nears its end.

I'm glad you do reviews for the series. In some way, this show kind of gives the movies a more in-depth perspective, especially when it comes to the characters.
Two questions: Does anyone else watch the series, like Dennis, Kristen, or Roth, etc. And do you think they should do an animated series on the orignal trilogy?
Thanks for checking out the review Michael, and to answer your question, I'm the only one who watches the show at Think Hero. An animated series on the original trilogy would be fun, but I'd rather see them do a story from "The Old Republic," or maybe something after the original trilogy. What do you think?
Only if they use those amazing graphics from "The Old Republic" Trailers. Thanks for the reply XD
I personally enjoyed that this entire abduction plot was a gambit by Palpatine to try and achieve what he did at the beginning of episode 3- the downfall of skywalker by tempting him to the dark side to overcome dooku. The only problem with that is that Dooku should have understood this. From Dooku's perspective, what was the point of that elaborate plan to kidnap his undercover master?
I see your point, but I don't think Dooku knows who his master truly is. Dooku only knows him as Darth Sidious. I could be wrong on this, so please correct me if I am. My Star Wars lore isn't what it used to be
I think Dooku knows. He makes frequent allusions to powerful inside influence in the republic in the clone wars. Aside from that, in episode 3 right before he dies he looks to Palpatine in such a way that I think shows despair that his master doublecrossed him at the last.
I forgot about that scene in Episode 3. I hope they explore the relationship between Dooku and Palpatine in more details as Clone Wars continues. Thanks for the insights…
