“Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.”
As expected, the team at LucasFilm Animation delivered another strong episode in this four part story-arc. I love the tension between the disguised Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cad Bane, who in my opinion is the coolest bounty hunter in the galaxy. I don’t want to take anything away from Boba Fett, but Cad’s voice and his cowboy-like charm are what make him so interesting. Obi-Wan is still doing a good job playing the part of a seasoned bounty hunter, while trying to keep Bane and Moralo Eval on his side.
Did anyone find it interesting that we never saw any of the Hutts on Nal Hutta? I’m not complaining, because the planetary design from the animation department looked superb, but I wanted to see some Hutts. The Hutts are the crime lords of the galaxy and always make for an entertaining viewing experience.
The most interesting aspect of this episode was the brief discussion between Anakin and Senator Palpatine. It’s great that the writers are exploring this relationship in more depth. Anakin has always been impulsive, but where the Jedi Council would teach him patience, Palpatine tells Anakin to trust his impulses and to act on them. I’m curious to see what you all thought of the cantina scene with Anakin and Ahsoka interrogating the bartender. I found it interesting that as Anakin is choking him for information, Ahsoka doesn’t even flinch. I love her strength, but what do you think about the relationsohip between these two? Does her strong devotion for her master blind her from his “darker side?” I hope you all are enjoying this season as much as I am.

You're doing a great job with the Clone Wars reviews, David! Keep it going!
On a rather sad side note: Ian Abercrombie passed away, the voice actor of Palpatine. I really liked him in this role, he will be greatly missed
Thanks
That's sad about Ian, I loved him in Seinfeld, and he's a great voice actor. It will be interesting to see who they find to replace him.
Interesting episode.I agree about Cad Bane. What I love about him is that he is witty and cunning too.I mean it is obvious that he asks the right question when he learns the news about the new spaceship:where did you find the credits for it?About Anakin it is obvious that he has already started to embrace the dark side.I think that the councelor has another reason for appointing him to this mission besides the encourangement to be impulsive but this is s-th we will know in the next eps.Ashoka can watch closely her master but sometimes she can not do much,it's natural.
i found it interesting when ahsoka didn't seem to care when he was force chocking the innocent bartender
