The full trailer for Pixar’s ‘Brave’ is here, and it looks fantastic. As usual, the trailer doesn’t give us all the details, but this movie looks like it’s going to be a fun adventure story with a sense of magic. What do you think of the trailer?
-Synopsis: Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In “Brave,” a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson).
Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAH!
I bloody love Pixar. I think they have hands down established themselves as the greatest film studio in the world today. And this looks excellent. I was gonna see this film regardless but this trailer has been really impressive. As a good trailer does this makes me want to see this film more. I've even rewatched this trailer a few times already to see what I can piece together an see what I missed. I'm really looking forward to this one. I love the art design to this one, This film looks fantastic, I know people thought Tangled was impressive in the art and animation department which it is but damn. The misty mountains, the grass, that guy whirling the sword, the hair animations. This looks beautiful.
Craig Ferguson is always a winner. We have a character called MacGuffin which I do find a little hilarious. Some nice slapstick in there too.
And for me personally with this film also being released at around the same time as The Dark Knights Rises I'm wondering if the pattern will comtinue as back in 2008 The Dark Knight and Wall-E ended up becoming my favourtite films of the year, in 2010, Inception and Toy Story 3 ended up as my favourite films of the year. I wonder if the same will happen next year.
ha… almost perfect
