I guess the economy is hitting everyone, even our very own man of steel. Everything about this film just screams “darkness,” which could be good or bad. As I’ve said in my previous posts, I don’t think that Superman should be a brooding figure like Batman, but a less angelic personification would be nice. What do you think? Can Superman still be relevant in our time?

With the facial expressions of the bearded entity known as Galifianakis I do not want to know what this superman does on the streets to make money, although this could prove to be rather fruitful.
A darker Superman? Not for me, I think most fans would love a Superman film that's light and full of heart and has kick a** action along the lines of All Star Superman and with a member of Supe's rogues gallery we haven't seen in a film before.
