Check out the first trailer for the new rebooted Charlie’s Angels TV show. The show will air on ABC on Thursday nights at 8pm starting this fall.
I’ve never seen the original TV show but I did enjoy the first Charlie’s Angels movie (second one was terrible) however this doesn’t look very good. The first movie with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu was a lot of fun and humor to it and this just looks very generic. I will check out the first episode to make a final judgement (that and I like looking at Minka Kelly) but I don’t have very high expectations. Perhaps it can surprise me like the new Hawaii Five-O which is actually entertaining.

Worst. Promo. Evaz.
I just don't understand it. Why are they remaking every show from the 60s, 70s and 80s? Were the recent remakes that successful or even good?! Knight Rider was aweful. 90210, Hawaii Five-O, Bionic Woman and V weren't good. Why? Why not come up with new stuff?
I'll stick to AMC, HBO and Showtime, thanks.
"Why not come up with new stuff". Are you serious? Do you know how many "new" shows come out each and every year? I am so tired of hearing this brain dead lament "why not try something new" garbage. Yes, there are reboots, but they represent a very small percentage.
Of course I know. As I stated, I watch for the most time AMC, HBO etc. where great new stuff comes up every year. I speak specifically about the producers behind those reboot shows. Why aren't they making new stuff? You know I had a great meal last week, it was delicious, but that doesn't mean that I wanna warm up the rest of it and eat it again.
Well since it's not FOX doing this we know it'll last at least 1 whole season.
Another unnecessary remake. It will never top the original but I will give it a chance. I hope it has more substance than mere sex appeal. Will probably be a bad guy of the week format with loose ends wrapped up tidily at the end of each episode, with no overall mythology/grand plot. Predictable.
And why whenever hollywood casts a black actress on TV and film is it almost always a light skinned black who is just one shade off white?
Well considering how 95% of network TV is white and there are barely any other ethnicities shown, you may be on to something kenderkenobi
