Remember the wrinkly old Transformer that the astronauts found on the moon in the teaser trailer for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon? Well that guy is named Sentinel Prime and here’s new pictures showing off his full design in different poses.
- Dennis

I always find it funny when people say they can't read the characters or poses cause of the design. If they just said they didn't like it, that would be fine.
This is going to be a very interesting character in the film
Let me tell you why I didn't care for the first movie, didn't watch the second, and don't care even a little bit about this third one:
- The Transformers are all overly detailed.
I know it sounds crazy, but the level of detail they put into the robots mixed with the absolutely frenetic crank addict camera and angle switches don't produce anything cool on the screen to me. It ends up being a mess that if I want to enjoy I have to hop myself on speed then watch the movie in slow motion just to get an idea for what's going on. The first movie was a visual mess to me.
And I'm a huge old school Transformers fan. Was my fav cartoon as a kid and I still own many of the original toys which are now collectors pieces worth a lot more than what my rents paid for them when I was 6.
I agree with most of what you said, but I think that opinion is reserved for our type. That being the type of a fanboy that typically enjoyed the early cartoons. Since then it's been a pretty steady downhill ride with a few humps that get you interested again right before whooooaaa! Down the hill we go again. My opinion is that the generation that is soaking up this lesser series is comprised of mainly youth that have parents in the age group that saw the original. Even if they weren't Transformer geeks. Because it was a fond memory.
So the first caption reads "Get off my lawn!!!" (ref Sentinel Prime pics)
