Superhero movies have been thriving in both Hollywood and public consciousness for almost 10 years now, and one of the biggest reasons has been the origin story. "X-Men: First Class" provides this oh so necessary background to a franchise whose last two film entries sacrificed depth of character for mutant and superpower pageantry.
