Check out my review of the latest Fringe episode “6B’. Roth couldn’t make it this week but she should be back next week for this week’s episode. Let me know what you thought of the episode and my review below in the comments section, thanks!

I don't think that there was any concern that our dynamic duo would be ambered but rather the anticipation of whether amber would have been used at all. Also, Peter telling Alice Merchant to let go…I did not see this as a parallel for Peter to "let go of Fauxlivia". Rather it is about cherishing the life Alice did have with Derek and evidence of that love that surrounds her still. It is a trigger for Olivia to re-examine her own situation with Peter and helps her to realize that is what she wants too…to build a life with Peter.
I agree that when Peter was telling her that both her and Olivia were also affected but to me the situation seems more similar to Peter and his feelings towards who he thought Fauxlivia was much like how Alice thought the person she was seeing was her husband Derek, but in the end the Derek in the alt universe was not her husband much like Fauxlivia isn't the Olivia he fell in love with before he crossed over.

Good episode. Two important points that were brought to light. Now breaches in our universe are now occurring and we are faced with the possibility that we may have to use amber in the future. We see Walter struggling with the moral implications just as Walternate did. Maybe the only difference beween Walter and Walternate may just be Peter.
This is even more interesting because if the alt universe can see that our universe is now threatened as well, will they change their stance and see that we are not the enemy? Even if this happens there are still some showdowns that probably are coming due to personal issues – Walter/Walternate, Olivia/Faulivia.
I have a feeling that the machine from the 1st people may be the cause of these ruptures in both universes. We will see.
Secondly this story showed how events can mirror each other in both universes – spouses in either universe losing loved ones, Walter/Walternate struggling with moral implications. Given how this episode ended – can we now expect Olivia to get pregnant like Faulivia in the other universe? …Can I go 2 for 2? LOL
Also was anyone able to spot The Observer in this episode? Apparently there is one in every episode. Sort of like Find Waldo.
he was in the very beginning
Soul magnets are going to come back the bell that Bell gave to Nina im 95% sure is his soul magnet what do you think
I liked your review — I really appreciated what you said about Peter’s speech to Alice Merchant being a reflection of his internal struggle over letting go of Fauxlivia. I didn’t think about it that way, and it makes me like the end scene more. I can see how Olivia probably thought he was speaking about/to himself which could give her more confidence in him, and so her decision to dive into the relationship makes a little more sense to me. Also, your perspective gives some insight into Peter, which is really nice, because I don’t feel like we get that very often.
I enjoyed 6B so much I think partly because it was such a relief after the overdose of Fauxlivia that was Immortality
. But there were a lot of things I found intriguing specifically, besides the Peter/Olivia resolution, including Walter’s response to the imminent collapse of this universe. He has been less confident and optimistic in general lately, but it really came out in his response to the soft spot (or whatever it was). His solution was to just copy Walternate, which is a little disappointing after all the time he had to consider. I think that he could use a confidence boost as well, so it was nice to see Nina there keep his spirits (and whaterver else??) up.
A Roth-less Review! So, in the other universe, did she win the coin toss and Dennis has disappeared?
I agree, the ghost story thing, blah, blah, blah, but what I found interesting with the resolution of the storyline, is, while the presence of Peter might be one of the differences between Walter and Walter-nate, the differences between the worlds may may be, at least in part, because of Peter also. Yes, there are technological differences, but the anomaly was closed because of Peter's actions.
Also, I wonder if the anomalies might not be places where the universes are canceling each other out if they are successfully not dealt with. While Walter's universe has been healing them, Walter-nate's has been putting a band aid on them.
It'll be interesting to see how this is solved.
