Check out this bad ass Alex Ross painting titled Avengers Assemble, prints of this image will be going on sale at Comic Con.
From LA Times Hero Complex:
Ross is a true superstar in the comics world and the signed “Avengers Assemble” prints should be one of the hot items at Comic Con International in San Diego at the end of the month — and they are big, too, at 45 3/4″ wide and 20″ tall. There will be 100 canvas prints of piece for sale and 250 paper prints. (The first 100 buyers of the paper prints will also get a bonus print of a Ross sketch.)

I knew Ross' realistic style would hurt Iron Man — other than that, AWESOME
Are you talking about the shiny reflections? They are a bit distracting.
Dennis
yeah, shiny. like a walking mirror
Very cool. I love Ross' work.
Its Alex Ross’ little details that get me. Look right in front of Iron Man, you’ll see a tiny Wasp, and the thing in the background looks to be Ant-Man’s mask while he’s in Giant Mode.
Those little subtleties are what makes Alex a great artist. I highly recommend picking up the book Mythology: The Art of Alex Ross, if you haven’t done so already. Even if you’re not an aspiring artist, its still a great coffee table book.
The tiny Wasp is cool, I got into Alex Ross's artwork when I read Kingdom Come many years back.

My main issue with Alex Ross and his art is that all the characters look just like him… even the women. Thor looks really cool, but Iron Man looks like the front of his face was smashed in with Thor's hammer. Wasp hidden in the center is a nice touch.
That is true, a lot of the characters Alex Ross draws are very similar. In Kingdom Come it was hard to tell the difference between Superman and Captain Marvel without their costumes.

It is what makes his Wonder Woman so very, VERY creepy.
