Check out this badass trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Bioware’s new MMO based on the Star Wars universe. Personally I avoided the whole World of Warcraft obsession, not because I didn’t like the game but because I knew I would like it too much, so I purposely never played it. I don’t know if I can do the same with this game. The allure of both a Star Wars universe and one of my favorite game developers in Bioware might be too much.

Yes, I will be getting this game. I'm already planning an "organized" effort with one of the player communities that I belong to. You could say that I've been waiting for SW:TOR since Star Wars Galaxies came out and underwhelmed everyone.
I remember hearing Star Wars Galaxies wasn't any good so I didn't bother. But since this is Bioware and these trailers look better than any of the prequels, I'm pumped up for this and also afraid that it will suck my life away.

I'm on the fence about getting this game just for the fact that it is an MMORPG. The ones I've tried and played have all been good in their own way, but I see the timesink they all have inherently built into their gameplay a major negative for me.
I'm worried that I will be sucked in so much that I will forgot about everything else, which isn't good.

Exactly why I'll admire and marvel at all the pretty looking trailers and such but will most likely avoid it when it actually comes out.

That's me to a tee. This trailer was way too badass for me not to consider taking a look.
