Check out these 2 new character posters for M. Night Shyamalan’ s The Last Airbender starring Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire). Seeing as Shyamalan’s last movie was The Happening which is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life, it can’t get any worse can it? At least this will have some cool action and visual effects? Please somebody encourage me about this movie so I don’t think it will be the disaster that The Happening was.

I am going to reserve judgment on this movie until I've seen an actual for real trailer. That in mind, the source material is excellent. So, its going to be an all new low for Shamalan to screw up a fantastic story that's already been written. So, I'm looking forward to seeing a real trailer, not just a clip of some wind powered kung fu as Fire Nation descends with their navy.
I haven't seen the original anime but I've heard good things. I'm not sure how badly M Night will screw this up but from what I've heard a lot of fans are not happy with the casting choices he has made.

Well, I am a true-blue Avatar fan, and I was at first very disappointed with the casting choices. The trailers, I have to say, are pretty amazing, and as long as the actors can appropriately play their characters, I think I will enjoy the movie, despite the appearances.
