SNL Does Avatar, Sigourney Weaver, James Cameron (VIDEO)

Last night’s Saturday Night Live’s host was Sigourney Weaver, so naturally they decided to spoof her and her involvement in Avatar. There were 3 sketches that either spoofed or mentioned her involvement in the James Cameron blockbuster.

The funniest one to me was the Laser Cats sketch which James Cameron makes an appearance and references almost all of his movies.  Then the Internet Buzz sketch is funny because it parodies the postive and negative comments people find on the web, and pokes fun more at the people who leave them than the targets of their praise or criticism.  The actual Avatar spoof was only mildly entertaining/funny but worth a watch anyways.

Let me know what you think of the sketches and if you felt the same.

My favorite was intenet buzz. I can relate to that 'cause I just wasted my entire Sunday perusing the internet! Laser cats was pretty funny too.

Lase Cats was good, Jake Sully's legs were better.

I think the sight gag of Sully's legs was funny but the overall concept of the sketch was only ok for me.

Geoblocking sucks, why not open it up to everyone especially a country that has the same products to buy from the advertisers.

Internet Buzz is so funny because it's true and also mocking people too. People who blog and comment (like me) wishes we had that much influence on actors/directors/etc.

Most video format I can see, but it drives me nuts when I run into something and it says I'm not in the right area for it. I'm less then a 2 hour drive away from Maine for heavens sake. T..T;; I buy the same crap, except I have to buy it on ebay and pay an arm and a leg for shipping. xD Agh.

    I digress.
