Basil Gogos’ ‘Wolfman’ Poster (PIC)

I wasn’t familiar with the name Basil Gogos until today, but his images are undeniably ingrained in my mind. I can almost guarantee that even if you’ve never read Famous Monsters Of Filmland, for which Gogos was the cover artist, you’ve seen a few of his images before. Universal recently contacted him to create a new poster for The Wolfman, which hits theaters February 12th. CHUD were lucky enough to get the image first, as well as conduct an interview with him. Here’s a gallery of Gogo images. I’d love to have this poster on my wall.

    Well, as much as I'm not that thrilled about this remake I will buy this poster. Basil Gogos is one of the masters when it comes to making monster film one-sheets. The only other person who I believe has as many fans for the work done with film posters is Drew Struzan who is usually doing action and scifi one-sheets.
