New ‘Daybreakers’ Poster (PIC)

Back in October we premiered the first poster for Daybreakers, yet another vampire film hitting theaters early next year. What makes this one different is that it has a pretty great cast in Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill, and Willem Dafoe. Thankfully this isn’t another Twilight, and the gore-loving Spierig Brothers are sure to make it pretty intense. This poster is jut plain creepy and reminds me a lot of 30 Days Of Night which is particularly awesome…for maybe 30 minutes at the beginning. Check it out and let us know what you think. The easiest way to think of the story is the political side of True Blood minus all the cam, with the vampires completely taking over and runninn out of humans to feed on.

I am actually looking forward to seeing this movie. I love the whole concept of vampires using humans as we kinda use cows now. Plus it will be nice to see some badass scary vampires apposed to just Abercrombie models brooding over some human.

    Amen. :3

  3. ThinkHero Says:

Yes, I think some of us are tired of the model looking brooding vampires schtick that's been going around the last year or so.

  4. Arleigh Says:

My theory on why the brooding, sexy vamp type has always been popular is that it makes the vampires safe for everyone to like. Give me the monstrous kind whether by appearance or personality over any 'sparkly' or 'lace-wearing' kinds any day.

  5. ThinkHero Says:

Yes the sparkly thing was pretty lame. I don't understand why you would hide if that was the side effect of being in the sunlight.
