Final ‘Avatar’ Poster (PIC)

We’re officially ten days out from the premiere of Avatar. I think we can all agree that America is aware of it’s presence now as opposed to the years and years of speculation. We’ve seen breakdowns of creatures, technology, story, character, and the planet itself over the past month or so as Fox flooded every available media outlet. They even went so far as to incorporate the movie’s premiere as a plot point in their annoying romance/crime procedural, Bones. The real question now is, will the film deliver? Not only in it’s photo-realism that Cameron so avidly promised, but in it’s story and that revolutionary 3D experience we’ve been hearing so much about. IMPAwards has a shot of the final poster for the film, which I actually like quite a bit.
Also we’ve heard a ton about the aliens in the movie, but if I’m correct this is the first we’ve heard of photoreal humans. Digital doubles have been used by before, but none to this level of detail. MarketSaw has a link to a forum where a WETA Digital matte painter confirms that THIS image is 100% CGI. There is nothing live-action in that shot.

Hello! Fantastic concept, but could this actually operate?
