AICN has just debuted an awesome poster of Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist in next year’s KICK ASS. The film, directed by Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Layer Cake), doesn’t hit theaters until next year but the buzz surrounding the film is huge. I just finished the script about a week ago and within the architecture of the footage I saw, I think people are gonna be blown away; myself included. What I really want though, is a Hit Girl poster. Chloe Moretz will steal this movie harder than Christoph Waltz stole Inglourious Basterds.

I actually met Vaughn while he was on tour with Daniel Craig doing press for Layer Cake. That was back when he was still attached to direct X-Men 3 during their pre-production phase. He seemed really interested in speaking with an actual fan of movies about what I wanted out of X3, and more importantly out of the character Beast. So yes, I claim full responsibility for the casting of Kelsey Grammar. It was a short, interesting conversation but it made me even more of a fan of his films.
