Check out these new shots from the upcoming Legion. After God loses faith in humanity, the archangel Michael is the only one standing between mankind and the apocalypse. This time using angels as the act of Biblical judgment, God’s wrath descends on Earth to exterminate the world’s population. In a desperate, last-chance gambit, Michael leads a group of strangers to a small, New Mexico diner to protect a young waitress who may be pregnant with Christ in his second coming.

I still think this is gonna be really stupid, but it looks cool and anything has to be better than Rise Of The Cobra. The film is written and directed by Scott Stewart, co-founder of acclaimed effects company The Orphanage. Stewart and his two co-founders, Stu Maschwitz and Jonathan Rothbart, worked for ILM before starting the company in 1999 and suspending operations in February 2009. Among their many credits, The Orphanage worked on the HUD display for Iron Man, the lead creature in the Korean horror film The Host, and the “That Yellow Bastard” chapter of Sin City.

I actually enjoyed GI Joe Rise of Cobra, and though I don't think this is going to be a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, it might be entertaining.

Stu from The Orphanage also worked on the the visual effects for the god awful 'The Spirit' by Frank Miller. (Though the movie did look pretty)
