Mad Men Producer Rewrites ‘Fright Night’

So let me get this straight: Marti Noxon is a producer on Mad Men which is (IMO) the most overrated show of all time, Jane Espenson wrote The Plan and is overseeing Caprica, Zack Whedon has been writing for Fringe, and David Fury is still writing for 24. What the hell gives, Joss Whedon?
Anyway, Marti Noxon is set to modernize 1985’s horror comedy Fright Night for Dreamworks. The original, directed by Tom Holland, starred William Ragsdale as a teenager who discovers his neighbors are vampires. I’ve actually never seen this, but I can’t forget that vampire face for the life of me.I don’t think she’ll skimp on the violence. I mean, she did write the “flaying of Warren” scene. She also wrote some of Buffy’s most emotionally taxing episodes, and took on showrunner duties during the Dark Willow season. What do you all think? You wanna see a horror movie from the woman who wrote for both Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice?

I haven't seen Mad Men yet, so I can't say if I think its overrated or not. However I know that "Fright Night" is Roth's favorite horror movie, and I scared her into thinking that a certain other female writer from Buffy was doing it.
