Modern Warfare 3 To Be Ultra Realistic! (VIDEO)

I just finished the campaign on Modern Warfare 2, and it was a lot of fun and very visceral despite its short length. The multiplayer is addicting especially with the way you gather points by playing and doing well.

One thing that bothers me about some people who play this game is they think it’s “realistic”. Is it more realistic than Halo or Left 4 Dead? Yeah, but it’s still not “realistic”, sorry to disappoint you but this is a “military fantasy” game. Even something like Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6 are more “realistic” than this game. If you’ve played the game you know that a single soldier can’t save the world by himself by carrying out missions (sounds similar to Halo to me).   How about shooting your gun while driving a snowmobile over a 100 mph anyone?

Anyways if you want a more realistic depiction of war watch HBO’s Generation Kill created by David Simon (creator of The Wire) or watch this hilarious parody video by the Onion News Network which drives the point home.

    Generation Kill is one of the best war stories I've ever seen. David Simon is a genius.

    Yes Generation Kill is great, it really shows you how it was for the soldiers on the ground and how they are affected by the politics of the chain of command in the military in a combat situation.

    Also love The Wire as well.

    I think Modern Warfare 2 looks pretty good but I'm saving up for Left 4 Dead 2 the first one just really got to me and I played it sometimes 12 hours straight. So I have to get number 2 even the demo of it I haven't stopped playing.
