Yeah, the picture quality is pretty excellent for a 15 year old movie. There's some grain in some darker scenes, but I think that's from the original film print.

Good review. I first saw this in the theater and loved it. I've never beern real happy with the transfer to DVD and have been looking forward to the Bluray release. Sounds like it will be worth it.

This has always been one of my favorite newer Sci-Fi movie. You were right on many aspects on the film but I still watch this whenever it is on tv. From TwisterComics
