This movie is gonna own so much ass. Check out this banner for Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming adaptation of Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass. I saw the leaked footage from Comic-Con and while the lead Aaron Johnson was cool you could already tell this movie belongs to Chloe Moretz. Her awesome is simply too overwhelming, whether she’s slicing through a room of drug dealers with a samurai sword (in explicit, violent detail) or getting shot point-blank in the chest by her father in exchange for ice cream rewards. I’ve read the comics and while it’s kinda funny, I found it really boring. This movie elevates that material in a way I wasn’t expecting at all. Click over to IGN for the individual posters.

I'm really looking forward to this movie, I wish I had been able to see the footage at Comic-Con, instead of the crappy bootlegs on YouTube. Well hopefully since its gotten picked up, the trailer will be out soon.
I do like the posters too, and how they form Kick Ass.
