Scream 4 NOT In 3D!

UPDATED: Kevin Williamson just updated his Twitter account with the following: “What is this Scream 4 in 3D? First I heard of it.” I guess that rumor’s over and done with. Too bad this sequel isn’t.
Kevin Williamson, showrunner on The Vampire Diaries, is currently penning Scream 4 which is supposed to be the start of a new trilogy. Courtney Cox-Arquette, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell are all returning but I’m not sure how small or big her role is supposed to be. Williamson had stated before that he couldn’t write it without her, then there’s reports that her role might be small but pivotal so who knows. His Twitter buddy Wes Craven is supposedly “closer than ever” to returning to direct the franchise. Am I wrong or isn’t Scream the only franchise responsible for both revitalizing AND destroying horror in a five year span?

Couldn't agree more. Loved the first and second, hated the third. No idea why they want to make a fourth one.

Thank God its going to be in 2-D I used to be really excited about EVERY movie being in 3-D but now I find for most 3-D Movies [not all] its just an excuse to make a crappy movie thats only cool because of it being in 3-D. But I think a scream 4 could be interesting even though I've never been that big of a scream fan. By the way are you guys going to review Saw VI just wondering. Thanks.

agree with Andrew. hopefully the killer isn't robotic, or boring, like in the second one.
