‘Daybreakers’ Poster (PIC)

Here is a new poster from the upcoming vampire horror film, Daybreakers. The film is both written and directed by twin brothers Michael and Peter Spierig, who were previously responsible for the absolutely insane, but mostly well-executed alien zombie flick Undead. I guess the main reason I’m excited for this at all is the cast which includes Ethan Hawke, Sam Neil, and Willem Dafoe. The other reason is that the Spierig Brothers did most of the VFX in Undead themselves, which may not look perfect but it did look damn good and showed immense potential. And hey, this poster is pretty damn sweet.
In 2019, a plague transforms the world’s population into vampires. With fewer humans to provide blood, the vampires seek to farm the remaining humans and to find a way to continue their existence. A secret team of vampires uncover a way that would rescue the human race.

I personally really like this poster. It looks cool and tells me what the movie is about instead of plastering just a bunch of star's faces on it and me guessing what it's about.

Undead seemed like just another zombie film until about halfway through. This poster hints at the epic scope Undead took on. I've been waiting anxiously to see what they do next, and the trailer looks fabulous.
