Ending of the first episode was the biggest tease ever because I was really hoping Dexter would be in some really hot water. I like when the pressure is on him and he's almost caught but it's getting old and we need someone like Doakes back on the trail of Dexter.

Lundy or Quinn will do for now, hope Lundy finds a good storyline other than being involved with Deb. Quinn is the dirtiest cop around and maybe he might fit into Dexter's code but that remains to be seen.

Overall I'm liking Dexter's new life with the family but I hear something big is going to happen in episode 4 of this season. I have no idea but it's going to be a good lead in with episode 3.

Trinity Killer is pretty cool and the teasers keep us tuned in because Dexter is eventually going to find out who he is. I don't think Trinity will try to kill Dexter but notice him as a person just like him, a person that doesn't want to hurt him, but wants to learn from him.

    HI Landfill!

Good to hear from you! You kow I srt of hope they do not go along the mentor route this time – because we have seen that before.

Ice Truck to Dexter – Dexter to Miguel.

I'd like to see him in a different kind of a dynamic this time.

As far as Quin goes – he's probably no good -BUT they always use the cde as a way of eliminating characters we don't like. I'd like to see him have to deal with someone not so black and white. That DOESN'T fit the code – but still is a "bad" guy.

    Thanks for commenting!!!

Thanks for your comment Landfill, nice to hear from you!

I definitely think Dexter is going to get himself in deep this season. We didn't have enough time to go into it, but I think Dexter is going to go after Trinity – I won't go too into detail b/c we'll prob discuss in the next review, but I also think that there's going to be a situation with Quinn if Dex isn't careful. I agree with Roth that so far we've seen every good antithesis to Dexter – his brother, Doakes, Lila, Miguel – get "taken care of" by the Code of Harry.. So it would be nice to see Quinn NOT kill anyone so Dex has to actually deal with him in a real way.

Thanks again, looking forward to some great discussion! =)

Yes it seems as though Dexter's "normal" life is going to fall apart from the latest episode. It's already interfering with his dark passenger and Harry hints at the fact that the Dark Passenger always has a hand on the wheel.

I really don't want to see Dexter and Rita fight in this season, I wish she would just be the stay at home type only because she really gets way to into to Dexter's life. I know it's kind of her job but it's obvious Dexter needs his time alone.

I think we'll be seeing a few revelations this season. Deb might find out about Dexter's family, not sure if she'll find out his secret. Rita should eventually figure out something's up when she goes to check on him at work late one night.

as for Quinn, I hope whatever is going on between him and Dexter gets solved real quick. I know it will probably last all season but Dexter obviously doesn't have a problem with him, it's still the other way around.

This season certainly is not disappointing the die-hard fans!
Now onto episode 5 "Dirty Harry".. I wonder who shot Deb & Lundy.. Was it Trinity or the Vacation Murderer? Season 4 is certainly shaping up to be as awesome as expected!
