ABC has just released the first 18 minutes of their highly anticipated new sci-fi show Flash Forward starring Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love) and John Cho (Sulu from Star Trek). This is my most anticipated new show of this fall season, and hope it can live up to the hype.  ABC is banking on this show to help replace LOST as it enters its final season.

After watching this teaser before the entire episode debuts next Thursday, I have to say that the hype is definitely worth it.  The show is engaging and done very well.  I believe the potential of another LOST sized fanbase is possible if they continute on the same quality of acting, writing, and storyline (and stay away from a Heroes-like spiralling downfall).

There’s even an homage and wink to LOST, with a billboard sign advertising Oceanic Airlines.
