“Legion” RED BAND Trailer (VIDEO)

Here is the RED BAND trailer for Legion, the action/supernatural movie starring Paul Bettany and Tyrese.  The story is about angels that come down to get an unborn child, and Bettany plays an angel that has decided to leave God’s rule and help protect the baby.  This kind of looks like the Dawn of The Dead remake except that instead of zombies, it’s angels.  This movie is scheduled for release on January 22, 2010.

BTW This trailer looks really similar to the one they showed at Comic Con, but I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same.

Yeah, I'd buy a ticket for this movie right now if I could.

I don't consider myself particularly religious anymore. There was a time, but not now.

Still, there are moments when something inside me just pleads and says: "Somethings are best left out of Hollywood's tainted grasp." This doesn't exactly make that voice plead, but it does spark its interest.

At any rate I am always leery of "superman" movies. The only one of its type I ever enjoyed was the Crow. There was a defined weakness. Never cared much for the Matrix movies. Hell, the only gripe I have against the Borne movies is that he is just that much "better" than human. Any time I see someone wielding an automatic weapon in each hand I get that "this has massive potential to suck ass" feeling.

I'm not totally sold just yet. I don't know why, it's just not my cup of tea.

I think it's funny though when something original comes around, the majority of the population doesn't find it appealing.

I'm sure I'll get around to watching this movie one day, most likely on DVD though.

  5. ThinkHero Says:

I liked the first Matrix movie, but the other two were awful, especially the 2nd one.

I loved all 3 of the Bourne movies though.

It's funny you bring it up, because we saw the footage at Comic Con, and thought that looked alright, but it probably will be mediocre or suck. But when I posted the trailer, a lot of people responded positively to it on Twitter. So you never know what people like to see.
