Here is the second trailer for Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are based on the classic children’s book.  I know this project has been mired in plenty of behind the scenes studio vs director battles, but from what I’ve seen so far it looks great and the monsters look like the perfect blend of suit and CG.

    Looks amazing. Thanks for posting.

This movie looks so good. I don't care what was holding up production or the release of this film, I'm just happy it's finally getting a release.

On a side note, what's the name of the song?

    Arcade Fire – Wake Up

Thanks man, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for a response to this. I realize I could have just looked it up but what would be the point when someone will answer my question here shortly?

  5. ThinkHero Says:

Opps, I meant to answer this awhile ago, and forgot. I saw Arcade Fire live, and they played that song as the last song.

  6. Landfill Says:

Ah, don't worry about it. I actually forgot I asked this question but am glad it's answered now. That's really cool you experienced that song live. Since I found out the song title, I've been listening to it for awhile now on youtube.

  7. fuelbot Says:

I was just browsing through old posts and saw the question. I actually saw them twice last year. They're my favorite band so you can imagine how geeked I was when they attached the song to the trailer.

  8. Landfill Says:

That's awesome, glad you came along you being a fan and all. The closest my favorite gets to the movies is at the end credits of Twilight. There was however that one song at the end of The Prestige.
