This international poster for Robert Zemeckis’s A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey is cool and kind of creepy.  I hope that the American marketing uses this same style.  The movie comes out this November, but I haven’t really seen any footage or trailers for it yet, perhaps they are waiting until after the summer blockbusters are over with.

Cool poster. Sceptical about the movie though

Yeah, I didn't see Grinch Who Stole Christmas, so I'm not sure how Jim Carrey did in that movie. Did you see it?

Stopped watching Jim Carrey movies after Liar Liar (although I did break that rule for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), it will have to be a VERY good movie to tempt me back!

Ah, the German version. Ich denke, es sieht ziemlich interessant, wenn von allen Geschichten, diese wurde bis zum Tod!

  5. Kort Says:

Actually, I though Carey was brilliant as the Grinch. He owned that role!

  6. ThinkHero Says:

It's funny because nowadays I look more forward to Jim Carrey's dramatic roles (Eternal Sunshine, Truman Show) rather than his comedies.

I agree on the sceptical – as am I – and I absolutely LOVE Eternal Sunshine f the Spotless Mind – one of my favorites.

I keep hoping that Kaufman and Gondry will work together again, they are not in the same league when they work separately.

  9. ThinkHero Says:

Yes, definitely better when they work together as evidenced by Eternal Sunshine, but I did really like Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, though not as much as Eternal.
