Check out the promo for Tom Hanks and Steven Spielbery produced sequel to Band of Brothers called The Pacific, which aired right before True Blood last night.
I was a big fan of Band of Brothers and also many of the other HBO series, and can’t wait for this when it comes out in 2010.

Looks pretty good. I think I should definitely watch Band of Brothers if it's anything like this. Also, March 2010 is a long time to wait for this.
I definitely recommend watching Band of Brothers as soon as you can. It's one the best things ever created for television, and is better than Saving Private Ryan.
It's only 10 episodes, but it's a great 10 episodes.

I plan on it, I guess I'll have to rent them or whatever but I will watch the show when I get a chance to.
good show but not on the level of band of brothers! it was shot very well but you just didn't care about any of the characters.
I agree, I saw it, liked it but wasn't near the quality of Band Of Brothers or Generation Kill.
They seemed to not know who to focus on, there were 3 main characters and it kept jumping around.
