Check out the first ever images from the upcoming movie based on the children’s classic “Alice In Wonderland” directed by Tim Burton.

Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter plays the Red Queen, and Anne Hatheway is the White Queen.

These images typify the reaction that Tim Burton’s creative work evokes, which is ‘Bizarre yet Beautiful’.

Pretty cool. Looks more like hyper-realistic surreal illustrations rather than movie stills. Depp's contacts are a bit askew too.

Hatheway is beautiful and looks the least strange in those pics, but she is super pale though.

This looks absolutely amazing. I love Tim Burton and Alice is one of my favorite tales. This is gorgeous and creative and unique – all great things. I couldn't be more interested and engaged. Unless I was making the movie…or in it…or if the movie was flirting with me…or feeding me deliciously…

It's crazy that you can tell that it's the other actors in those first few photos except for Johnny Depp. I bet if someone watches this that has no idea Depp's in it, they won't even notice it's him.

Yeah I was thinking the same about Hathaway. She just looks like herself but really pale. I wonder why they didn't change her appearance drastically?

Do you notice the picture is from the waist up??? Leave the rest to Burton's imagination. I need to watch the trailer. She reminds me of Burton's Winona Rider Characters.
