2 New Awesome “Astro Boy” Pics

When I first heard of the Astro Boy movie being developed, I thought it was going to some cheesy live action remake like Speed Racer, and planned on trashing the movie. Then the company behind it, Imagi started getting into financial trouble and the project almost went under.

Now that things are looking better, I’m actually having to rethink my previous position, because all the concept art, trailers, pics I have seen tells me that this movie looks fantastic. As long they don’t make some lame story, I could see this being a good movie. Will the public go see it? I’m not sure, perhaps it will be an Iron Giant situation where all the critics like it and develop a cult following.

Hrm, not sure. Being that I grew up with Astroboy, this kind of looks like a Wii-Version. Too much the animated look. But it's only first impressions. Hopefully I'm wrong!

Good call on the Wii-look, I personally like it. I remember Astro Boy when I was younger but watched G-Force and Speed Racer more.
