Check out the trailer for Star Wars Old Republic, the new MMO game coming for the PC . The cinematic trailer is really well done, and Lucas probably could learn a thing or two about bringing respectibility back to the franchise.

I have to admit I got the same chills watching this as I did for The Force Unleashed…these video game companies really should be hired to develop films…this could have easily been a great trilogy I think it would make them even better and fresh if you didn't include characters from the six films….Old Republic would be the ultimate prequel…along with actually seeing a "war" between Jedi and Sith instead a few mild skirmishes…I want to see tons of Jedi and Sith battles and no more droids or clones doing the dirty work…

Also, if you ever interested, Knights of the Old Republic which is an RPG for XBOX, is the best Star Wars story I've seen since the original trilogy.

just a quick question, does the game include actual characters from the Star Wars universe? similar to Knights of the Old Republic?
Not sure about actual characters, perhaps Yoda. Since it takes place way before the prequels, I'm guessing most people aren't alive yet.
