During Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference today, Left 4 Dead 2 was announced for a November release date. They also showed a teaser trailer for it as well. In the trailer, it seems like there are new characters to choose from, and the ones from the first game are no longer available. Check it out here.

I love Left 4 Dead, the visuals are stunning, the gameplay is unique and fun, and playing it reminds me of Dawn of the Dead – especially the first campaign. While the prospect of alternative weapons is intriguing, they'd have to do something extra to get me to buy it… otherwise it seems like it'd just be the same game with some different weapons.
I hope they have new weapons and more than 4 stages as well. One thing they did change that I thought was ok to keep was the same characters. But I guess they wanted to put it in a different setting with new characters.
