Thanks to sponsors Microsoft and Sprint, my favorite online web series “The Guild” created and starring Felicia Day has been “picked up” for a 3rd season.  This funny and charming web series is about a guild of MMO players (they never show the actual game, but it’s an imaginary game that’s based on World of Warcraft) who have taken their online relationships offline. 

Personally, it’s great to see something on the web that is of consistent good quality that doesn’t require a major movie or TV studio to produce and yet has a large and loyal following.  This bodes well for future quality web series to be sponsored by companies in the future (ThinkHero’s MegaShow is always looking for sponsors… hint, hint)
