JJ Abrams “Fringe” is Renewed for 2nd Season

FOX announced the renewal of JJ Abrams new sci fi show Fringe for its 2nd season next year. This comes to no suprise as the show gets decent ratings (Tuesday primetime spot doesn’t hurt) and I’m sure Fox doesn’t want to piss off JJ Abrams whose Star Trek reboot is getting rave reviews.
I have to admit, I’ve only watched about half of the season so far, and while sometimes entertaining, definitely is not in top shows on TV. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a much better sci-fi show that is most likely canceled, after being sent to Sci-Fi purgatory AKA as Friday nights.
I’ll probably finish off the season sometime in the future, as I have 10 episodes sitting on my DVR waiting to be seen then deleted. Maybe after all the other shows are finished for the this TV season, and the NBA and NHL playoffs are over, I’ll have time over the barren summer to watch them.
Are you a fan of Fringe? Are you happy about the renewal?

Seems like Fringe has a bigger fanbase than I expected. Will definitely finish out season 1 and see if it grabs me more. When did it start getting really good for you, or did you always like it?

I don't remember the exact episode, maybe four or five shows in. Just, all of a sudden, I couldn't wait for the next show. I really enjoy the character interaction, Walter and Peter especially.

I'm about 10 episodes in, it started getting more interesting with the bank robbery episode. I mainly watch because I like Walter.
Hopefully it will start to pick up for me soon.
