Captain Kirk as Green Lantern?

Earlier today, a rumor from IESB.net said that Chris Pine, the actor playing Captain Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek movie, was possibly going to play Hal Jordan the lead role in the future DC comic book movie Green Lantern.
Apparently LatinoReview has dugged deeper into their sources and has confirmed that an offer has actually gone out to CHris Pine for the role. So now it’s up to him to accept before Star Trek debuts to secure a gig, or wait and hope Star Trek becomes a huge hit, thereby increasing his value and asking price.
Do you think Chris Pine would make a good Hal Jordan AKA Green Lantern?

Pointy Chin versus Iconic Superhero Square chin.
Always a tough call for me. But then there's really not enough guys in Hollywood anymore that have that iconic look.

I could go with either Jon Hamm or Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan.

I think I would enjoy Fillion if they let him have some of his humor to the role.
Pure iconic looks would have to go to Hamm, but I'd enjoy Fillion better.
On a side note Fillion's new show, Castle, is highly entertaining. . . . and funny as hell.

Nathan Fillion without humor is not truly Nathan Fillion.
Haven't seen Castle yet. Might watch first episode to see if its good.
Loved him as Mal in Firefly and as Captain Hammer in Dr. Horrible.
