I didn’t even know that there was a Star Wars Live Action TV series in the works, but SlashFilm is reporting that casting has begun on the show. This is the first live action Star Wars story since the disappointing Revenge of The Sith. Apparently the storyline is supposed to take place between Revenge of The Sith (Star Wars III) and A New Hope (Star Wars IV).
Lucas has described it as “Deadwood meets Sopranos in space”, I won’t hold my breath. Deadwood is one of my favorite TV series of all time, and Sopranos is up there but not in top 10. If it actually even came half as close as he decribes it, I would be impressed.

Yeah it is a cool background, unfortunately the prequels were disappointing. Let's hope this new Star Wars TV show is good.

i love all the films…i loved revenge of the sith i thought it was amazing along with the rest of the movies
