The gorgeous Morena Baccarin, who played Inara on the Joss Whedon cult show Firefly has been cast on ABC’s remake of the sci-fi classic TV series, V.  She will be a lead role as Anna the leader of the Visitors.

When I watched Firefly, I thought Morena Baccarin was going to be in all kinds of movies and TV shows after the show’s demise, but never saw her in anything afterwards. I’m so happy to see her cast in a high profile TV show, and joings fellow Firefly alumni, Nathan Fillion on ABC.

This makes me want to see the ‘V’ remake even more now.
