According to io9.com, the rumor of Megatron’s return to the Transformers sequel has finally been confirmed by c0-screenwriter Roberto Orci. After months and months of denials from the Transformer cast and crew, including Michael Bay himself, Orci finally admitted that the recent toy pictures of Megatron are correct, and the Decepticon Leader will be making an appearance in the movie.
What do you think? Do you even care?
My problem with Megatron in the first movie, was he was far too large, he should have been Optimus Prime’s size, instead of 5 times his height. Also, I wanted to have more personality, in the first movie I couldn’t tell between Megatron or Starscream, they looked and acted the same, except Megatron was much bigger.

I’m glad he’s a tank in this one, instead of some kinda weird starfighter thing (and at least Starscream has crazy tattoos, so he’ll be unmistakable). A tank alt mode feels more “Megatron” to me.
I didn’t have a problem with Megatron being bigger than Prime in the first movie, but I DID have a problem with Megatron having such a hard time fighting Prime, when he was so much bigger and more weaponized.
I almost forgot he was a tank. In robot form, he looked liked Starscream and the other Decepticon jets.
I liked the showdown between Optimus Prime and Megatron in the original animated movie, where Megatron uses Hot Rod as a shield.
Man, I haven’t seen the original movie in so long. I forgot how low the frame-rate was.
I think the live action movie was confusing in a lot of the action scenes because the screen would just sorta dissolve into a high-speed blur of anonymous shifting robot-parts.
BTW, apparently there’s going to be some kinda superdeformed Starscream toy that looks exactly like the Raptors from BSG. WTF?

Yeah that really does look like the Raptor from BSG. I guess Starscream is part of the BSG universe now.
It sucks that Megatrons alt mode wasnt used in Transformers; Bay and crew would have been better served showing that tank than a few of the new robots
