According to Ain’t It Cool News, Dan Aykroyd has been quoted as saying that he hopes Ghostbusters 3 will start shooting in Fall 2009, which means a Summer 2010 release.

If they can recapture the magic of the first Ghostbusters that would be great, especially with the updated computer graphics of today.  Let’s hope it doesn’t repeat the mistake of the 2nd one, though I do remember having that Bobby Brown Ghostbusters theme song stuck in my head as a kid.
