According to ScreenRant.com, there is a rumor that Dakota Fanning has been offered a role in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon. First the Vanessa Hudgens rumor, and now this. Supposedly she did not have to audition for the role. This franchise is hoping to make a serious dent at the box office the next time around.
