According to io9.com, rumor has it that two of the major cast members of Heroes, Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter want to be released from their contracts and leave the show.  Perhaps they will kill off the characters or send them away, so they can bring them back when Hayden and Ali end up coming back after they’ve bombed on their next show. 

I haven’t liked Heroes since season 1, and think season 3 took the show to ridiculously new lows. I’m suprised that the show is still on the air, however let’s be honest, Hayden and Ali aren’t exactly Emmy award winning actresses and not quite household names.  People know who they are, because they are on Heroes.

If they are truly unhappy with the characters and how the show is going, and they want to leave because of that, then they should do what they want.

But if they think, “Hey, I’m not getting enough screen time” or “My character isn’t the focal point anymore”, they should perhaps reconsider as this may be the last time they are seen by the general television viewing audience.

Question is, do you think they should leave? Do you even watch Heroes anymore?  Do you care?
